The Flüssigboden OWL Story
Our Vision
Although the company has only been in existence for a few years, it combines deep-rooted craftsmanship, technological expertise, and a clear vision for the future. At our core, we are an agile startup that has evolved from real-world experience—founded to address genuine challenges that had remained unresolved in the German civil engineering sector for decades.
We have deliberately chosen not to position ourselves as a mere supplier of liquid soil or machinery. Instead, we see ourselves as a full-service provider. Customers, clients, investors, and construction companies come to us because they know that our service doesn’t end with the delivery of materials. We don’t just manufacture liquid soil—we provide concepts, support projects, identify technical challenges early on, and create operational clarity for construction sites that are otherwise often fraught with problems.
One value always takes precedence: reliability. Every client should be confident that they will receive a transparent, honest, and technically sound recommendation from us—even if that recommendation means not using liquid flooring. This is how trust is built. And this trust is the foundation that leads clients to want to carry out not just one project, but 20, 30, or 40 construction projects with us. It is precisely this long-term perspective that lies at the heart of our company.
Our History
The two founders of Flüssigboden OWL—Martin and Dominik—embody the perfect blend of practical experience and engineering expertise. They met just as the company was about to be founded. Martin was already deeply rooted in the liquid flooring industry and had observed for years the problems that were holding the market back: production facilities that were too slow, imprecise technology, a lack of reliability, and insufficient innovation.
Dominik, on the other hand, came from the industrial construction sector as an experienced senior site manager, with a deep understanding of construction site operations, economic requirements, and process optimization. He was asked if he could see himself becoming part of this new company—and his answer was a resounding yes. This combination gave rise to a synergy of technical expertise and operational efficiency that has formed the foundation for the company’s rapid growth.
Martin had previously spent years working on existing equipment, refining it, and gradually increasing production speed—from 30 to 50, 60, and finally 100 cubic meters per hour. Dominik brought the ability to implement this technology on a large-scale construction site. This led to the creation of a company that not only develops the machines but also understands how they need to function under real-world conditions.
Flüssigboden OWL is fundamentally different from traditional liquid floor or equipment suppliers. While many suppliers simply sell materials or provide machinery, we offer a complete solution. Our goal is not merely to be part of the construction process, but to actively improve it.
A key difference is our in-depth technical understanding of both machinery and materials. We not only develop state-of-the-art mixing systems, but also tailor them to specific soil types—whether sandy, loamy, or difficult to work with. This adaptability allows us to achieve production speeds that are out of reach for many other providers.
In addition, service plays a crucial role for us. Our systems are internet-enabled and can be monitored remotely at any time. Faults can often be analyzed within minutes—eliminating long downtimes entirely. If a component is defective, our experience and diagnostic systems allow us to immediately identify which part needs to be replaced. This combination of technology, service, and expertise is unique in the market.
We also place great importance on always staying one step ahead. While others simply “go with the flow” of the market, we aim to lead the way. To that end, we continuously optimize our machinery, processes, and pricing structures so that slurry can be used cost-effectively in even more projects in the future.
Our Vision – The Future of Liquid Flooring
Our vision is ambitious—but it is realistic. We aim to become the most reliable partner for liquid soil in Germany. Our goal is not simply to sell more machines or to serve as many construction sites as possible at the same time. Our vision is to finally establish liquid soil as the building material it was originally intended to be: a sustainable, reliable, and cost-effective alternative to conventional backfilling methods.
We envision a future in which liquid soil is no longer seen as a problem, but rather as a smart building material that conserves resources, reduces costs, and streamlines processes. A future in which construction companies no longer have to dispose of tons of soil that would actually be valuable. Every year, enormous quantities of soil are excavated worldwide and treated as waste—simply because the technology to reuse it effectively is lacking. It is precisely this global problem that we want to tackle and demonstrate: there is another way.
However, our vision extends beyond the building material itself to focus primarily on the technology behind it. We are constantly refining our systems, making them smarter, faster, safer, and more efficient. In the long term, every system should be able to operate entirely on the basis of data—with intelligent diagnostic functions, automatic documentation, AI-supported settings, and a level of service that minimizes human error.
We want clients to be able to say:
“When Flüssigboden OWL comes on board, the project gets done.”
This reliability isn’t just marketing—it’s a promise we’re already keeping every single day.
And that is precisely our vision for the future: to redefine standards, take responsibility, and demonstrate that real progress is possible in civil engineering.
